Birdie, the main character is a lovable young lady, homeless after years of foster care. Yet, I wish I could visit the characters again. But it managed to tell the whole story without the need for a book two. But otherwise, this was a fantastic read. And I almost think that they were necessary for the whole picture. What a wonderful, unexpected find! I think I mentioned that my husband recommended a book titled Crux to me a while back.
